I was skeptical when I bought this but this is a good quality tool. It's very good for the price. Only medium hand pressure is required for application. Magnets on either side hold the nickel-plated steel bushings in place. Easy to use upside down. 100% brass bushings tend to slip. Installs approximately 30 grommets on 2 tarps in approximately 25 minutes. The quality of the grommets included in the kit is "B” grade but has never failed for 3 weeks. Penetrates 2 layers of Sunbrella tarpaulin or durable woven polyester. You have to walk slowly on the Sunbrella to get through the second layer cleanly. highlighted.
