This is a reliable phone system with good sound and easy setup. However, it has a feature that I did not expect, but no doubt someone will like it. You can program this system to BLOCK annoying phone calls! I've been blacklisted from the start, but as most people know, that doesn't stop many pushy marketers, and the companies you do business with have the legal right to harass you with unwanted calls. My mortgage bank has been doing this for years and has been calling several times a day (including Sundays) for the past 2 weeks. And before that I couldn't help it. No longer! With this phone, you have two options: Block any call that says "Out of Range," "Home Call," or "Long Distance" without a number attached. (Note: This feature ONLY works if you have caller ID, but most carriers offer this option for free.) You can also select specific numbers that called and mark THEM as blocked. Sweet. I received this phone last week and have already programmed about four numbers to block. The phone rings once while identifying the caller and then automatically hangs up the call. love it love it love it I can't tell you how happy I am when a call is blocked. It's now 9am and the same company has called 4 times, blocked each time. I'm sitting here sipping my coffee and smiling at the thought of some stupid telemarketer wasting his money and time. FINALLY there is a way to fight back! I love this phone!
