I've had them for 5 years now. When not in use, the sleeves can be pulled over and stowed in the soft case. These are very reliable binoculars, especially for the price, and they still work perfectly. The only problem is the lens caps on both sides. They get very lost and constantly fall off, which is very annoying. I was tempted to glue the strap in place but that doesn't change the fact that the buckle just gets lost on the lid and falls off. I think I could just tape it around to improve the fit, but then it would look like poop. Not sure if they have updated and fixed the covers considering I bought them 5 years ago so this may not be an issue anymore.
