I use it to make coffee at home 2-3 times a week. I've had it for less than six months and it's giving VERY erroneous readings. Right now the thermometer shows 120 degrees just standing on the counter, while this morning it's 68 degrees indoors. I first realized that there could be problems if it read 220 (the maximum reading) when the water wasn't even boiling. I would rush to drain the water but then the coffee wasn't very hot. There is no need to replace it any time soon for the amount of use it has had.
