- I was looking forward to trying this out. When the package arrived I took one out and put it in the shower so it was ready to use. Then I left my bedroom (the bathroom is just behind the bedroom). When I came back, a strong odor/"aroma" came over me. This thing is like chemical warfare. My bedroom had both doors and windows open, as well as a large ceiling fan with blades and a 4 foot floor fan. BOTH ran at high power but the toxic smell permeated the room even as I entered the bedroom! Some foods "mature". packaged as it ages in storage prior to shipment, so this could possibly be accidentally aggravated by long-term storage prior to shipment. I attempted to rinse the bar thoroughly, thinking that a concentrated "aroma" might have built up on the surface (exposed to air/oxygen). It didn't help. Some people want their presence known before you actually see them (I have a neighbor who I think just pours perfume instead of bathing as her sense of smell acts as an early warning of hers every time she walks past it approaching window of our apartment - and this is an open way at a height of 12 floors) - I think to each his own. - I have arranged a return and oddly they really want this to be returned (4 bars are individually wrapped but boxed and sold in a 4 bar pack which has now been opened with a box open and thrown away and the bar has been washed - again - a sale in this condition is not possible). I hope UPS doesn't retaliate for sending me a very smelly, toxic package. You may need to add a TOXIC warning label.
