I wanted a muffler that wouldn't make any noise in the truck. I installed this on my 2V Ford 6.8 V10. This muffler is nearly silent at idle, silent at normal cruising speed, and a little more than stock if you mess around with it. If you want something louder than the original with no cab resonance, order it today. If you want your neighbors to hear you when you light it up, consider something else. The fit and finish of the premium muffler were top-notch. As for the sound of the V10, it still sounds like the V10 but it's not loud. I am very comfortable.
