I put this on my 02 GMC Yukon and it sounded factory made which was the complete opposite of what I wanted. If you want tranquility and flow control, this is for you. If you want loud and aggressive, don't take it! Flow masters for life!

This muffler is very well built. Flowmaster claims it's the quietest of them all. It was too loud for me. I confess I was looking for something that was almost in stock. I chose the Walker Quiet Flow SS. Much quieter than this one.

Installed on GMC Canyon. Has a deep, aggressive sound. Lower than most V6 mufflers. The noise level is slightly higher than expected but still acceptable for the daily driver from the cab. No noticeable change in mileage.

Easy to put on, but very loud. I put it on when I got rid of Active Fuel Management and installed a very small RV camshaft on my 5.3 liter engine. It was loud with the headlines, but it's really loud with this muffler. My son loves it, maybe it's my age.

The 2016 RAM1500 replaced the Supper 44 which came with a dual exhaust kit I bought that was too loud. It's a little quieter, but still a bit noisy for me (now that I'm older). Aside from what was mentioned above, it was an easy and quick install and a straight fit.

Silencer of very good quality. Quieter than a 40 or 44 but louder than stock, with a really nice deep rumble, especially under acceleration. The dynamic pressure in the application system of the Silverado 1500 has been reduced, but it's not very loud when cruising, and you can still hear the radio.

I would not recommend using this muffler if you have long pipes, no cats and a tuned engine unless you like a loud sound that does the Crowd ALWAYS pleased! This muffler is nearly silent at idle, silent at normal cruising speed, and a little more than stock if you mess around with it.
