Perfect if you just need a spare or are starting out since you will not have the skill to differentiate sounds. Great stethoscope as long as you understand its limitations. I was nurse for a decade, not the one to buy if you are using it daily on every patient you see, go with the Littmann unless your equipment gets beat up like a combat medic of FD. New to nursing or EMT get this one, you will not know what you want yet but you will need one. You will probably lose it anyway since you are not use to having one with you. Once out of school your job requirements will dictate which one to buy, working in cardiac requires a different stethoscope than the pediatrics and so on. At this price point it is good. Also it looks great.
