Well I was a jeweler and I bought this beeswax to lubricate my saw blades. The blades used in a jewelry saw are very thin and flexible and can break easily. It is recommended to lubricate them with wax or oil so that the blade moves more easily with each blow and also to avoid breakage. The oil is dirty so I used beeswax. Also, I love bees in general, it makes me happy. It's a real shame when your blade breaks through something while sawing. You'll have to stop everything and replace the blade, which can cause either a HUGE headache or a relatively mild headache depending on the saw you're using. I bought this bag about 6 months ago and I haven't even made a dent in one latch yet. This package will accompany me for a lifetime! So what's the value? YES, especially in my situation I will never have to buy again! Unless I decide to make candles. Ha
