Teflon coating is significantly inferior to previous versions of this product. You have to go to a cheap Chinese manufacturer. The old ones worked MUCH better. This one is difficult to drive into traffic due to poor coverage. I thought it might be a defective part but other reviewers had similar issues. UPDATE: After comparing it to a replacement part made many years ago, I'm not sure if it's a plating issue. The tip of the new screw is much blunter than the old model, which explains the difficulty of the work. I don't know if this is a widespread problem or if I just got a lemon.
