I bought these trousers for my almost 17 year old daughter to wear to work on her first job - the quality of the trousers and the fabric are excellent. I was very concerned about what size to order after reading the other reviews because everyone said how small the pants were. My daughter is about 5ft 1, weighs 102lbs and has a 24 inch waist. She usually wears size 0 for adult women or size 1 for juniors. Most reviews said to go at least 1-2 sizes up and as my daughter is so small and skinny I thought going up a size would be perfect. We ordered size 3. The pants fit well, although they are a bit wide in the waist, but the belt does not fix anything. They fit snugly around her thigh, which she prefers, but as skinny as she is, she'd be in trouble if she wasn't so small. The length was a few inches longer (it's very short) but it was nothing an iron on hem tape or traditional seamstress made by a seamstress couldn't handle. Trousers. I'm grateful that I was able to read reviews from other customers, know how to order a size up and wanted to add our experience so that it can help anyone trying to choose the right size for them. Basically, pants will most likely need a hem if you're under 5ft 4in, and they definitely go at least a size up, if not two, depending on how big your hips are.
