Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Efficient Park Tool CCP-22 Crank Puller: Extract Cranks with Ease by Adam Bates

Save yourself the headache and just buy this

I've decided to spend the off-season upgrading my bike. I decided to save money and bought a cheap set of tools including a crank puller. Big mistake! It was rubbish. When I tried to use it, it completely stripped the threads from the non-drive side crank. After spending several days trying to remove it, I finally resorted to a hacksaw. Luckily I've already replaced the crank and bottom bracket, but it would be nice to have my old parts as spares. Anyway, I ordered this item and canceled the project until it arrived, which only took a day. The first time I used it it was so easy, at first I thought I broke something else. But no, it just worked. Just. Easy. I see others complaining that it's too low to get good leverage. I haven't had this issue and my upper body strength is crap due to 2 surgically repaired arms from a bike accident that ended my 2019 season (broken left arm, torn rotator cuff and right bicep). I mean, save yourself all the hassle I've had to deal with and just buy this. It's well made and won't tear up your bike. Park Tools has a new customer for life.
