I bought a used spirit level but was not told that any parts were missing. It had paint/resin on the bottom of the tier and was missing a tube screw. Aside from that I also bought a new one to have in every toolbox so I'm okay with the one missing the screw at a lower price. But buyers beware, when buying used, parts may be missing and possibly uncleaned, it would be good to warn.
