I really liked the quality of the goods, but I want to emphasize that they are small. Size 4-7 was perfect for my almost 4 year old but too small for my almost 6 year old. And don't forget that wool shrinks almost 90% of the time when washed in cold water. Anyway, I bought both sizes 4-7 and 8-12. I'm glad I listened to the reviews that it runs small. You can see the size comparison in the photos. Size M for 4-7 years is almost 6 inches long. And size L for kids 8-12 years old is almost 7 inches long. It stretches a bit but shrinks after the first wash. So you will probably have these socks in about this size.
