I work as a carpenter in the Northwest US (Washington and Oregon coast). Lots of work in wet weather and demolition. No other gloves I've tried last as long as these. These gloves have saved my hands more times than I care to admit. While leather gloves are good, they don't offer the kind of grip that these gloves offer. I always have at least three pairs on the job and change them when needed, usually when they get dirty or wet, so they're easy to put on and take off. One of the best things about these gloves is that they can be washed multiple times in a regular washing machine. So if they get dirty, smelly or whatever, you can toss them in the washing machine, let them air dry and they'll be like a new glove again. Over time the rubber on my fingertips wears out and I have to throw them away. Sometimes I can use them for a few weeks to a month before they lose their protective value and grip. This means their dollar value per wear is excellent. Better than any other gloves I've tried on the market.
