Stop the beep; constantly making noise; Not Plug and Play

This thermal label printer is basically a noisy brick that usually just prints standard sticky labels and makes a lot of noise all the time. Although it's designed to be placed next to a computer, it feels obligated to make loud and obscene beeps to get your attention - as if you're gone - when it runs out of tags and fails to connect manufactures when you change tags because he's hungry and tired, he needs a diaper change I think. It squeaks even if it has labels on it. That gets on my nerves and gets on my last nerve. Picture with everything and while you use it, it beeps loudly all the time during printing, beeps when printing is complete, beeps when more labels are needed or jams occur. He screams like a wolf so often you never know why he's squeaking. Except it's uncomfortable and noisy. It also doesn't print on a multitude of differently sized labels, as the mail (when purchasing) promises. We have tried repeatedly. He just loves the default. The print quality is good and clear. But they must cut the speaker wire or determine the purpose of the deafening horn. You must use the provided key to install all drivers. The initial setup requires more effort than necessary, and the included instructions (for each drive) aren't entirely accurate or up-to-date. Flash drive info doesn't work on Mac but it does on PC. At least our experience. I gave this two stars because it prints on standard labels and the print quality is good. If you're a small business or hobbyist who just ships something every once in a while, I think that's fine. If you're looking for a printer that will reliably print multiple sizes and multiple labels per day, I wouldn't go for this one. I have another similar thermal printer. It's about $100 more and works just as fast, prints just as well, but it doesn't beep all the time for no reason, it just works (connects, installs its drivers).
