Keeps dry although hands without pockets get wet and cold. Feels pretty firm and keeps my legs and torso dry but I had to pull it up around the waist to warm my hands in the hood pocket which got the sweatshirt wet. I will update the information after riding a bike with this outfit. I only rated it one star because I was wearing a pair of pants this morning and when I took them off over my shoes they snagged and ripped right at the seam - that's $17. for one and a half uses. If the seller replaces the pants I will check again
