I bought this e-collar because I feared for my dog's life. Before I got this collar, my dog ignored my commands to come. I live next to a busy road and most of the cars that drive on it are going at high speeds. Once when I let her go to the bathroom, she broke free and ran down the street. Luckily no cars drove over her at that moment and she just ran down the street and away from me. I managed to catch it and in that moment I realized I had to do something about it. I didn't want her run over or stolen. This collar is AWESOME! It is very durable and has a very long range. I love the fact that you can just let the receiver beep or vibrate because sometimes I don't need to use the shock button. My dog knows when he squeaks he's better off coming back. I don't set the shock level to something I'm too uncomfortable with. He's level 5 and I've punched him in the neck a few times. She's a golden retriever so she has a lot of fur and the current still reaches her skin so that's good. I've dropped the remote control several times and it's very durable. Love it! I highly recommend it!
