These mostly work for my daughter, who runs everywhere in the house, so the grips on the sole keep her from slipping on hard surface floors. The only thing that is really annoying and keeps me from giving it 5 stars is that the shoe pad insert does not stay in place. It moves around so much that it has to be removed and readjusted after each time she wears them. I bough a different style of the same shoe at the same I purchased these and those shoes have been no problem at all, so maybe this pair has a defective attribute that prevents the sole from staying in place.
