Well made. There are a number of different multi tools on the market, some so thin that they fall apart the first time you use them. This tool is not like that at all, the blades and bits seem quite strong. Some blades/attachments require some force to open initially, but should be smoother after a few uses (better than tools that don't release cleanly). The tool also fits neatly into the included nylon belt pouch. Overall, I'm satisfied with the quality of this tool and according to the ad, it would be a good gift for an experienced boy or girl.
