I was a bit nervous about buying a new brand of tea bags for my loose tea but I really like these. I received the brown/neutral large tea bags not the three size options. They are wide enough that I can easily fit a full spoonful of tea into the bag. I then tie the top and have never had a problem with it tearing. The ones I bought were long and narrow which made it difficult to pour the tea in at times. The only thing I noticed is not a problem, I like my tea to be long brewed, it always is, and the water rises slightly on the thread leaving the water on the table/counter quicker than the brew last time. I've had a mark if it hangs over a mug. I usually put a paper towel underneath to catch the water.
