I actually bought and received this case before the new tablet arrived. Immediately after I received the case, the technology provider emailed me to inform me that the open/close power button might not turn the tablet on and off, so they gave me the option to get a loan or a new case for free and keep the old case. I decided to build a new building. A new case has arrived and it works as advertised by turning the screen on and off when you open and close the front cover. I'm happy with the case, it looks solid and durable. I guess the supplier brought the issue to my attention before I even knew about it, can't remember when it happened to me. je. Many Thanks.
