I've used a few of them in various projects and portable power packs now and they work great and charge very quickly. Keep in mind that if you don't use a heavy-duty charging cable, it may not charge very quickly, or if you don't supply enough power to the module. In my experience they work fine at 12 volts, but they work even better at 20 or 24 volts if you have a good 5 amp RMS power supply behind them.
