Review on PooPoose Changing Cover Varsity Grey by Chris Wheeler

Revainrating 2 out of 5

I ordered the color with the best reviews; not suitable.

Well, the son isn't born yet, but I think the thing will essentially be useless. The holes on the belly wrap belt cover are about 3/4 inch larger on both ends of the belt so I know it will go through if it has a diaper tear and it's not very appealing to see cream colored. Plastic sticking out of something, not a cheap cover. Also, the cover is a bit small for a pillow, and so the stretchy sides of the cover (think a stretched mattress topper) don't wrap under the pillow, they float on the sides and there is noticeable bulk (again, think a fitted one mattress topper that is too small for the mattress and actually doesn't hold up properly) on a surface where it is clearly too small and is likely to contract and become completely unusable once a child or weight is placed on it. I'm not sure what to do here as this particular changing pad has different straps than any other I've seen and the only way I can think of using a different cover is with either the completely stop using the seat belt or cover them up. , or buy a regular pad and cut holes in it where the belt goes through. Neither of these seem like a very smart option. I'm disappointed because I really like the pillow itself as I haven't seen any pads with wide and soft waist straps and I'm not sure why they perform so poorly with covers. OH, and also the coverage won't stay 100% if you follow the instructions for the insert to attach the insert to the changing table with the two small straps on the side that should be screwed right through the fabric strap to the changing table. table somehow. I want this thing to be as secure as possible, but this part of the design seems really stupid. With proper exertion of movement, the fabric straps just rip, and by the time you've got a few random screws drilled into your changing table or station and it wobbles when it all comes out. Again, the case cannot accommodate the use of these harnesses.
