Firstly they are the same as all the others sold here - they all appear to be made by the same factory and are simply renamed here. I wouldn't believe their pictures are any better, that's the whole fuss. Second, it actually took me two tries and two different kits to get it sounding as good as the original. I just installed my first set and it sounded terrible. Have tried all sorts of lubricants (Vaseline) without success. I basically smudged everything to the point of no return/correction, my ropes were soaked with all the stuff I threw at them. My second set - and what worked for me - used a good quality lube (Quicksilver 8M0071838) from the collar. Before installing, I removed the casters (two on each side) and greased the struts before replacing the casters. Also, I took new ropes and used a bar of dry soap to "dry" them. Installed and no more noise. We'll see how long that lasts, but even if I have to re-lube every now and then, it's a victory over that hideous noise. I think the grease is effective at dampening the vibration of the rollers, resulting in loud harmonics in the springs.
