I'm not the type to give 5 stars easily so trust me when I say this product really deserves it. I'm a professional photographer so I've had to deal with cheap plastic lights that are extremely cumbersome to use - this isn't one of those products. Here is a summary: Pros: - Meets the basic requirements for even facial lighting - Offers 3 lighting modes: cool white, white and warm white - The main plus is the durable material of the light stand. I can't say exactly what it is, but it feels like either carbon fiber or some other metal composite. It's definitely not cheap ABS plastic that breaks easily. The small design allows it to be used for more practical purposes (e.g. on a table). The lamp can be folded in half. While this is primarily for maximum storage, you can use it to play with the lighting. For example, if you bend it at a 90 degree angle, half the light falls on you and the other half can bounce off the ceiling for a softer look (effectively acting as a reflector). There is no feeling that they will break anytime soon. Comes with a phone mount and flexible arm for easy shooting. USB connection for easy streaming from your PC/laptop webcam or meeting (no software required). Very compact and storable. easy to carry with the included carry case (not the highest quality case but consider it a bonus that gets the job done) - Lightweight stand can be used as a spare tripod for DSLRs - Comes with a remote control to control your camera phone app (not really handy, considering most phones now have timers but they do if you want to) Cons: - you need a USB socket if you want to use a light with a socket instead of a computer (not a big deal since the most people already have it) - the brightness is not adjustable - colors cannot be gradually adjusted (e.g. with a dial). Only three modes are available. There is no way to mount a DSLR/mirrorless camera with a ring light (at least I couldn't find a way).
