I love these Lohas A21 3-way LED bulbs that work with standard non-3-way bulbs and turn 1-way bulbs into 3-way bulbs. I have them now in three table lamps that I have been using for several hours a day in a row for almost a year and they work perfectly. The output is warm and very similar to that of an incandescent light bulb, but you save energy and save dollars on your electric bills. about the size of single-sided lamps. They work like this: every time you turn on the lamp switch in sequence, it turns off and on again, and every time it turns on again, it's in the next setting, cycling through 3 levels of brightness. Surprisingly, if you turn it off and on for a while, the next time you turn it on, it usually chooses the last setting instead of going to the next. So if you set it to low, turned it off and left it off, the next time you turn it on it might still be low compared to switching to medium. If you have wall lights that fit a standard size light bulb, you can also use these light bulbs and they work the same way as lights plugged into a wall socket that works with a wall switch: how it works is described in my paragraph below.
