High quality toy marionette made by Silly Puppets. Marionette string puppet operated with control bar. Pegs on control bar can be popped out for easy untangling. Height with strings is approximately 24 inches (puppet itself is about 16 inches). Mouth is not movable.
The product arrived in a package, the label is sewn on the package. It appears to be a Dollar General product. I'm not returning it because my 6 year old granddaughter wouldn't appreciate the quality of the product (I admitted) and would be a good puppet to practice with, but I was disappointed.
This is all a rag doll tied with multiple strings. The same rope pulls the leg and arm from the same side, meaning this doll only has two movements, not four or more. A real doll has no joints or anything like that. The kids will get bored right away. Find a cheap doll and tie it up with string and you'll save money and end up with the same product.
Bought this for my 9 year old granddaughter for Christmas. Of course she hasn't seen him yet, but I love playing with him! It takes about 10 seconds to learn how to move (don't forget to remove the velcro from the straps - they prevent the straps from getting tangled in transit). I know my GD will love it and now I will buy another doll, another one for her and her friend to play with when they are together.
My one year old granddaughter's face really lights up when she sees Amy. She's too young now to let her get too close to Amy. She wants to pull the strings and Amy is confused. Whenever she comes to visit, Amy is always there to greet her (we hung her out of reach from a wall planter). Her face lights up and she waves as soon as she sees her friend Amy! She loves it when I walk Amy across the floor and make her dance. and she always loves Amy's hugs. I'm thinking about getting Amy a boyfriend!
