DOES NOT PRODUCE BRIGHT WHITE LIGHT OR DECLARE PERFORMANCE.

I tried these bulbs in 2 different bulbs to make sure they worked properly. In my Waterford floor lamp, which takes standard 50/100/150 bulbs, these bulbs give off very poor light. I thought maybe it was the lamp so I put the bulb in my Stiffel table lamp and the lighting was just as bad. Both lamps have white silk shades so nothing blocks the light. As these two lamps are of excellent quality I should have gotten the advertised results. If you prefer 'soft' light and low wattage 30/50/70W…

I installed it on a 3-way motion sensor and still you only get one level of brightness.

I bought these to replace the 3 way bulbs in my garage; hoping to save electricity. Currently, the motion sensor I use causes my lightbulbs to stay at their lowest setting for an extended period of time (before turning off completely) and then brighten up when motion is detected. I've always liked this feature. But no luck with these. The sensor can only seem to trigger them occasionally, which is a big disappointment. I'm not sure if it's the switch or the bulbs. Brilliant! Turns any floor lamp into a 3-way lamp.
