Review on ForLife Cafe Style Glass Coffee/Tea Press, 16-Ounce, Black - A Stylish and Efficient Way to Brew Your Favorite Beverages by Dustin Mitchell

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I wish I could give it TEN stars!

The last time I replaced my Keurig coffee maker I decided that if it failed (I've had to replace it (mini) multiple times) I would consider a different brewing method. The research led me to the French press. There are many to choose from. Some presses are rated in cups. Depending on which side of the Atlantic you live on, the minimum glass size is either 125 ml (4.23 fl oz) or 6 fl oz. But many people, myself included, drink from a mug (8-16 ounces). The size of the cup is often not specified in the product description. Consequently, I narrowed my search to presses that listed volume in fluid ounces. I wanted glass, not plastic, not stainless steel. In the end, I settled on that cute little belly. This is an absolutely AMAZING product! I would give TEN stars if I could! I don't know if that's what the designers had in mind, but I use the FORLIFE etch as a sensor when I add water. All you need to brew a great cup of joe is coarse coffee, hot water, and five minutes. This press is easy to use and easy to clean. The soft base keeps the coffee hotter for longer and reduces the risk of breakage.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
