Got these as a birthday present for my twin nieces. They like to run and play in the backyard and in their tree house at my brother's house. This set looks great and only requires 2 AA batteries for each. As with most radios, batteries are not included. So make sure you have something ready. It has a number of channels that kids can switch between. I had to set it up for them and also teach them how to use it. But they caught on quickly. There are only a few buttons, which simplifies the work. The signal between the two walkie-talkies is crisp and clear compared to some others I've seen and tested in major stores. This set is under $20 and I received it with a coupon code that made it under $15 which I think is a steal. Anyway, I think they fully justify the price paid.
