I used this product for the sprinkler wire. I needed to get the sprinklers out into the yard, and instead of running the new wires back to the controller (which meant going under the house) I just hooked up the new wire, sealed it with twist-lock waterproof gel caps, and plugged them in string box and buried them. A few weeks after digging it up (still easy) to check it out, I found it clean and dry inside, although it was wet from heavy rain a few days ago. Since it came in a set of 2, I use the other one. for power tools plugged into an extension cord --- but I expected it to work well for such simple tasks even before I ordered.
