In terms of looks you can't go wrong with these Reebok shoes. I like how they look. However, there are 2 main disadvantages, but let's look at the advantages first. First, style. I just can't explain how much I love the look (I had the Ice version but love the rubber outsole look) as it looks so classic and timeless. I love all white sneakers because they look great with almost every outfit. The only problem is keeping them clean, so I toss my white sneakers in the bleach washer from time to time. But that goes for all white sneakers. The materials used are nice too and they appear to be durable. I like the sole because its design really helps prevent slipping. I wear this shoe loose so it's always nice to have traction on wet surfaces. The perforated toe box is good too and adds a pretty decent level of waterproofing given it's a leather upper. I also paid $46 for these shoes so I'm happy with them and because of the price I gave these boots an extra star. Now for the two main concerns: comfort and cushioning. Well, these two might sound the same, but they're not, at least to me. Cushioning refers to how well a shoe returns energy and absorbs shock. Comfort refers to how they fit your feet and whether or not you can walk barefoot without showing up. There are basically no depreciations. I've seen some Reebok Classics that featured a much softer midsole in addition to memory foam insoles. These shoes feel like you're walking on thick cardboard. Sometimes it can be very painful to walk in it. I literally walked 100+ miles in these shoes and my feet and knees hurt. The midsole is really firm and mostly stiff. I wasn't expecting to walk in these shoes (please don't. They'll kill your knees and ankles) but at least let me walk in them comfortably. Shoes don't give you that. The inside of my left ankle was bleeding from the abrasion. The blood got to the inside of my boot and I was also wearing nondescript socks. There is no lining inside the shoe, so these shoes are definitely designed to be worn with socks. Despite the fact that these classic shoes (even the cheapest ones) have an inner lining to prevent chafing. My tongue was itchy like crazy on my ankles when I was wearing nondescript clothes, so I had to position my tongue behind the first two rows of laces so that when I tied the laces, the ends were under my tongue. It's hard to explain without a picture, but basically these shoes are meant to be worn with ankle-high socks. What disappointed. In general, these are good shoes, but they must be comfortable. I hate returning worn shoes. So I can keep them or sell them on eBay.
