I chose this wand because it has 3 important functions for me and this wand doesn't work on all 3.1. The switch that allows you to expand or contract the stem is so flimsy and only seats in that inadequate guide that it falls out all the time. It's a pain in the balls to put together.2. Even though it's a NuTone wand attached to a NuTone floor brush, it's always there because the tiny little off button takes an unreasonable amount of force to push through the hole and turn off. You might think that products from the same company would be more compatible.3. The same coupling mechanism that connects to the middle vacuum hose at the other end is too weak. When I suck the wand detaches from the hose and just spins around as I suck resulting in less control. I constantly have to use both hands to "find the hole" to plug it back in, multiple times in one vacuuming session. All in all, this thing is more annoying than helpful.
