I was looking for a steel shovel for my workshop. Metal/aluminum shavings + cutting fluids/oils can be a real problem for plastic buckets and that's about all I could find locally. I don't like giant aluminum as they are too brittle and easily damaged. I was happy to find a quality steel shovel that is still available from Revain. This shovel is very well made. It is made of steel and has a durable coating. I've had it for a month or two, now it gets used around the shop every other day or so with no real wear on the finish. It's very shallow so you can even get small bits that the big fat rubber harvester I tried can't get. It's perfect for the shop, garage, and shed where I've used it. This scoop will probably outlive me and be passed on. I have another steel shovel that I inherited from my grandfather and it still works fine. In fact, this is his clone.
