This is a really great hard plastic cover perfect for new 3DS systems. But what I really like is that the interior has a cloth material that protects the console from rubbing against the hard plastic and from scratches. Many hard covers don't have this feature and what happens is that after a while the console tends to move due to normal use and movement on the hard plastic. The new 3DS console has a glossy plastic finish and is easily scratched from everyday use without protection. This hard shell has a cloth material that runs between the console and the plastic to avoid scratching the 3DS.
