I don't understand why some people report problems. It works as they claim. I had no trouble closing it. I was nervous because some reviews said they were useless if the item was too thick, but as you can see I was able to save 2 ears of corn and they were by no means flimsy. I have a whole pack of sliced cheese, cold cuts, etc. without any problems. I didn't have to worry about wrapping it in cling film. Fast and doesn't take up space in the fridge. I put it in the dishwasher with no problems. Takes up very little space in the closet. I don't understand what people expect from him. They can only accommodate what reasonably fits. You wouldn't stuff a whole head of lettuce into an 8-ounce jar and complain it didn't fit, would you? I love it!
