The cost of the tip negates the "affordability " of these markers
I first used Copic markers and was very happy to find affordable alcohol markers in colors that Copic didn't have. Although I spend close to $10 on replacement wood tips at the time, these Spectrum Noire markers actually cost me more than Copics to get a brush marker. I love how the Spectrum ink sits on paper and blends, but the expense of those replacement nibs and the inconvenience of a bulky body and how difficult it is to remove caps and make sure they're tight takes away the charm of an additional source from large marks. If only Spectrum Noire would redesign his pencil case,
