I ordered a grey/white "Flowers" Cat Cave. The background is light cream with a gray floral pattern around the opening and large gray dots on the outside. I understood that the medium thought it was a bit big for the kitten we are getting and she might grow into one, but I expected that I would have to buy a bigger kitten for her later. Well I was pleasantly surprised at how big the area is. Very spacious for a big cat. We're bringing home a Maine Coon kitten in a few weeks, and even he won't outgrow this cat cave. This cat cave is also really well made. It's thick felt wool. I think at least 1/4 inch thick. Very durable. It comes folded and wrapped in plastic wrap so when I received it I was really wondering if it would look cheap. No way. When I opened and unfolded the package, and then put my hands in the cave to give it a round shape, it easily holds that shape itself, sits on the floor for a week and hasn't lost its shape when the cat is on top lies. This will of course be flattering, but she can easily slide into the hole and it will be a cave again. our kitten at home and see what she thinks about it!
