TL;DR: Cheaply made, looks cheap, doesn't last long. If you are serious, get the best sports equipment. β’ It barely fits a 42" waist (only mentioned because the description says up to 48"). β’ The chain was missing a hook, but the hooks were incredibly cheap and easy to bend, so I ended up removing the hooks and opening the D-rings to take the chain, thus getting rid of the hooks entirely; Admittedly, this reduced the final chain length by a few inches when they contained hooks of that length. β’ The thread and glue on the loop on the back of the sporran came loose 30 minutes after initial wear, causing the sporran to fall off. when walking off the chain (thankfully my kilt has pockets so I didn't have to lug my stuff around.) β’ The button doesn't close easily due to the very stiff material. β’ If it's leather, it has a plastic coating glued to the outer surface, huh also not very good (embossing? carving? etching?). , even at this price point (nearly $20), and I'm honestly not sure how much actual use it will last before it literally falls apart again. When I decide that I like to use sporran with my modern kilt I get one of the best qualities.
