I have replaced the Valentine One with this unit. On my recent trip to New England, it keeps crashing whether I'm driving on freeways or country roads, with or without other vehicles. In 800 miles of travel it has fired at least a thousand times and possibly more - even operating only on the Ka frequency, making it impossible to determine if an alert is genuine. This is a clever design, but totally unreliable. Unfortunately money wasted.
