Okay, but install with some preparation!

Product arrived on time, well packaged. I suspected it was a return because it looked like drops of water had dried on the panel, but that's fine. to get just right. This took longer than I expected. Don't be a cranky fool like me, hop in right away and with a little time! I want to give buyers some advice to think about. The instructions seemed reasonable to explain that the bidet head goes on the potty first. However, if I were to do it again, it would be one of the final steps. My first step would be to tape everything up very, very well, using better tape than what was kindly included (the reviewer who said he brought extra tape to the party, your words echoed in my head!). First connect the cold water hose to the bidet, then the hot water hose. I say this because it was very inconvenient for me to mount the cold water hose at the angle I was at when the bidet was already installed under the seat. I was screwing it in wrong the whole time which I discovered after leaks. Concerned that the strings might snap after much fiddling, I removed the entire piece of bidet and tried again. Light! As for the hot water hose, you can drill your sink cabinet in front of anything if you hate changing hats during a chore, but I decided to get everything in place first and then decide where to place it. I installed it last week. I hate writing reviews so quickly but wanted to share my setup before it's been too long. As for my experience with the device, so far so good. As many western buyers will admit, I bought this after visiting Japan. There is a big difference between these jets and the washcloths I used there, which is not surprising, these jets are basic and a little cheaper. This particular item (and our brondell bidet too) doesn't have the smoothest stream. Water can splash and make a mess, especially with female spray. It takes a bit of experimentation to position the controls and yourself correctly. If you need hot water and the water is slow to heat up, turn on the hot water in the sink first. However if you have the heater high up it can get quite hot, be careful! I could lower the temperature of the water!

Pros
  • bidet and bidet parts
Cons
  • Not the best
