I installed these for my grandmother who uses her computer in her sunny room where it can be quite bright. She hasn't had a super sunny day yet, but she reports that the screen definitely helps. I installed a quality matte film before it came with gloves, which wasn't the case, although it did come with a felt-lined scraper to squeeze out bubbles. Would I buy again if I needed a matte film as the price is quite reasonable.
