I bought 2 of these to decorate my room. First of all I have to say that they look very cool and stand out. They feel heavy and sturdy, but are definitely not sharp enough to even come close to damaging your fur. BUT, there are some design flaws that make me not recommend this product. The star's weakest point is the long threaded tip, which allows the star to be screwed into the wall. In fact, during installation, the tip of the screw completely unscrewed from one of my stars. I was disappointed that the tip of the screw wasn't as strong as the rest of the star. Also, if you look at the picture, the bottom edge of the star isn't actually touching the wall. This results in all of the downward force being placed on the propeller, making the chainring even weaker. When I hang something on a star, I'm always afraid that the star will fall off for lack of support.
