Review on Sliding Door Lock Child Safety Safety by Amanda Castillo

Multiple updates. The locked door is closed.

Oh my god they really work! We have pocket doors in all of our bathrooms. I have a 4 year old with autism who won't leave the toilet. We've tried all the locks on the toilet and he rips them off. I fixed it on the door so high he couldn't reach it but my older son can. It's easy enough that my eldest son (who struggles with things like this) can reach out to open it and use the bathroom. strong enough that my 4 year old couldn't put enough force on the pocket door with his fingertips to break it. I have made sure to give it a full 24 hours to cure before using it. I won't lock our doors because I'm afraid my boys will lock themselves in or out, I can break that down in an emergency but they can't. Update *** People were locked inside for about a month. Bathroom. When the door was closed, it opened because the rubber seals on it came off. When the door was slid back, the rubber pad went with it and activated the locking function. I only deducted a star because it still works but now it's even uglier and scared my husband and son. **Additional update. They got stuck, opening and closing the door. Thank god, one of my kids wasn't there. To remove it we had to break the plastic in the wall and then scrape off the adhesive once we could open it.
