My family and I are going on a big campervan trip in December. I ordered these headphones to communicate with my co-pilot and ground commander. I liked them for their ability to let me hear strange voices while wearing them. I also liked the large PTT button. I don't like playing around trying to find the little button. They looked cool too, so I was happy about that. When I received them, I put the batteries in according to the instructions and tried turning the device on. He didn't intervene. What a disappointment. I spoke to Revain customer service and they were able to process a replacement. When the replacement came I had the same problem. If you're looking for a solution with the same features as this headset, you can look elsewhere. After 2 failed devices, one can certainly assume that all devices, at least in this batch, are defective.
