Do yourself a favor and don't waste time on this. The wiring for the PTT has been broken out of the box and the headset will only work if the PTT line is held in a specific position. The volume buttons on the headset also don't work and don't transmit anything when used with a known good PTT rig.

The first set was returned. Power/Volume didn't work. The second put the batteries in, the headset turned on. The only way to turn them off was to remove the batteries. PTT kept dropping. I had to constantly move the cable to make it work. I understand this is not an $800 Peltor. But these damn things should at least work as advertised!

I bought these for two purposes: hearing protection and communication during airsoft games. A friend recommended them for the money, they are great. I've used them a few times and there is only one small complaint hence only 4 stars. The head piece has no adjustment so it is a little tight if you have a large bowler hat (hat size 7.5).
