This is a great carrier for cats. Before that we bought a hard plastic carrier and the handle came loose on the first use. My kitten only weighed 6 pounds. This new carrier now weighs 8 pounds and is absolutely comfortable and sturdy. I unzipped it and it popped itself. There are 3 holes (on the sides and top), a nice closed pad inside underneath and a small leash inside to attach the collar if you want so it doesn't pop out when you open it. carrying handle and/or shoulder strap. My kitten/cat lay down on the floor and could see all sides perfectly happy. It's a WINNER!
