Review on IPazzPort KP-61SM Backlit Mini Keyboard Bluetooth Touchpad Rechargeable 2.4Ghz IR Learning Remote Keyboard For Google/Android TV Box, Raspberry Pi, Smart TV by Bernard Larjin

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It's fine. if you aren't using the mouse.

I wanted to like it, but alas, I cannot. Typing on the keyboard works fine. The trackpad (mouse pointer) is choppy, very inaccurate, but somewhat usable. I stuck with it for about 10 minutes, but I had to give up. My couch is less than 10 ft. from the HTPC and unobstructed. Getting closer to the HTPC somewhat relieved the issue. The hardware feels too light, plastic-y, and slick for my taste. I wish it had something that gave it more grip. However, these are only preferences that I could have overlooked if it worked well. After looking at several of these mini keyboards (of different brands), it appears that most of them (if not all) have people complaining about the inaccuracy of the mouse pointed. I might just have to stick with my old keyboard.- a Logitech K400, which works amazing. I just wanted something smaller. I was actually relieved when I went back to the Logitech because the choppiness was killing me.*Update 1 month later*I gave the product another star because the customer service was amazing. Upon reading my review, they proactively reached out to me and offered to replace the keyboard for free. Before accepting the replacement, I returned the original keyboard as I had lost interest in the product. Though i returned it, they still sent me a replacement (for free) hoping it would work better. As much as I hoped it would, it was not any better. After a few weeks, they reached out again to see if I was happy with the product. I was honest about my experience and they were very gracious. They even sent me out a different, unrelated product to try out for giving them honest feedback.I'm so impressed with their service that I would not hesitate to recommend the product if you are curious. Hopefully others will have a better experience with the product than I did. If it works, then awesome! If it doesn't work out, you can always return it for a refund.

Pros
  • QWERTY keyboard with touchpad mouse: 88 keys QWERTY keyboard and built-in high sensitive smart touchpad with 360-degree flip design, you can use it to operate the home theater remotely without multiple remote controls while sitting on the sofa(Note:No touch function in the touchpad icon area. three quick clicks = mouse right)
Cons
  • The keyboard is not suitable for use as a primary input device, as it is too small and uncomfortable to use for extended periods of time
