When I received the car seat cover there was a strong smell of gasoline, but I left it in a soapy bath for an hour, rubbed it a little, rinsed it and hung it to dry overnight. After drying, the smell disappeared. It has worked very well on the driver's seat of my car so far. I like that it doesn't interfere with the side airbags. The material is pleasant to the touch and does not heat up in the sun. I am grateful to the customer service team who went out of their way to help with the odor issue and I was able to eliminate it completely with ease.
